As Port Dickson is a sea side town, you can assume that restaurants in around here usually serve sea food. Note that even if this is so, some restaurants tend to overcharge their customers because of the demand for these cuisine. A piece of advice when finding food in around Port Dickson is to go for the local food instead of sea food as they are cheaper and less demanded. Sea food although naturally are abundantly found here are not the best food you can find, so it is not one of the highly recommended food in around Port Dickson. Most hotels have their own coffee houses and cafes that serve authentic local food for the enjoyment of their customers. A short drive out of the hotels will see you in around the town centre of Port Dickson which have fast food outlets like KFC while there are many coffee shops that sell nasi lemak, satay and many other type of food. There is also a bazaar here if you like snacks. When holidaying in Port Dickson, most families would bring their own food to cook in the apartments they are renting or have barbeque sessions by the beach, a common favourite.
